The Aquinas College Campus Safety department will celebrate their 40th Anniversary this fall. Kevin Kwiatkowski, current director of the department, explained that Campus Safety has changed a lot over the forty years that it has been operating.
“We’re the first Michigan college to have this type of system,” said Zenon Cardenas Jr., Aquinas’s Emergency Management Coordinator. The app was officially released on Sept. 30.
Efforts to keep students safe include Campus Safety increasing their presence on campus.
There haven’t been clown sightings reported on campus, but Campus Safety has been monitoring nearby reports in order to keep us safe.
Due to the recent terrorist attacks across the entire world, airports will increase security.
Due to recent events detailed to the student body in an message from Campus Safety found in email inboxes, it has been evident that Aquinas College students (both male and female) need to be informed on their rights on acquaintance sexual assaults.
