The 65th Annual Grammy Awards was held at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on February 5, 2023. The Grammys are held to honor the best in music, with the most prominent awards being Song of the Year, Record of the Year, Album of the Year, and Best New Artist. The ceremony this year was hosted by Trevor Noah and featured performances from Bad Bunny, Harry Styles, Lizzo, and more.
Perhaps the most memorable moment of the night was Beyonce making Grammys history. Beyonce before that night was the second most awarded artist in Grammys’ history, behind only Hungarian-British conductor, Georg Solti. Beyonce broke this record when she won the award for Best Dance/Electronic Album, securing her 32nd Grammy and making history. There is truly no one more deserving than Beyonce; in my opinion, she is the greatest of all time and there is no one like her. Although I wish that Beyonce would have won awards in bigger categories, I was glad I was able to watch her make history this month.
