Are you a clinical exercise studies major? Would you like to hang out with more people with your same academic and professional goals? It sounds like you would really enjoy becoming a member of the Pre Orthopedic Allied Health Club. This group is specifically for anyone wanting to pursue anything in the realm of allied health professions, including but not limited to physical therapy, occupational therapy. Biomechanics, prosthetics, and athletic training, and/or chiropractic medicine.
To accommodate sports scheduling, the group meets on Sunday at 8p.m. once a month. However, there is no mandatory attendance policy. The goal is that students enjoy getting together and want to participate. At the moment the meetings for the first semester are scheduled for September 10, October 22, November 12, and December 3. Location to be determined. Some other fun events that are still in the works include volunteer opportunities, group study sessions, application workshops, team building activities. and discussions with allied health alumni.
If you would like to join there is a link in the instagram bio. The instagram handle is @aquinas_preorthoclub or you can email the president of the club, Jenna Blackwell, directly at jmb017@aquinas.edu. Any questions you may have can be directed to that email as well.
