As a solution to the chronic parking problem at Aquinas, the first floor of the Administration Building wiII be converted to a parking garage. “It will solve the problem nicely,” said Vice President for Plants and Trees Jock Peeper. “The nice thing is, the remodeling budget for the parking facility will be zero.” Peeper continued. “We don’t need to continue the remodeling for classrooms going on now. We just need to create garage door openings by running a bulldozer through the walls at either end of the wing.”
Peeper said the money saved from the classroom remodeling effort will go to the Aquinas Builds Ego capital campaign to convert Holmdene into Norby’s Nook. Temporary administration and faculty lodgings on Wege Island. Students visiting faculty offices should watch out for the giant clam and the great white shark that
inhabit the pond.
