Tuesday, Sept. 9 was the first Prayer Night of the school year for Aquinas College’s Campus Ministry. Prayer Night is an event for Christians of various denominations to gather together and discuss scripture.
During the first Prayer Night of the school year, students broke off into small groups to talk about different topics, such as humility and obedience, and what it meant to them. This Prayer Night was led by junior Logan Licence, Prayer Night leader, who is involved with the Campus Ministry team. “We are starting to build a great community with Christ with all denominations,” Licence said.

The first prayer night was a place for newcomers and freshmen to find out what it is. One of these newcomers was freshman Alex Dumont. “I felt like some bonds were made today,” Dumont said.
“I ended up missing a little bit of homework but it was a great time and it was worth it,” freshman Joe Warren said.
The next Prayer Night will take place on Tuesday Sept. 30 at 9:15 outside the Mary Statue, across from the Chapel.
